You can ask us to delete your account and the personal data linked to it at any time. This page explains how to do it, what gets removed, and what we are required to keep.

Delete your account from the app
This is the fastest route and takes effect immediately.
- Open Balaji Gold House and sign in. Use the mobile number registered to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Profile. Tap the profile icon in the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap Delete account. You'll find it under Settings, at the bottom of the profile screen.
- Confirm. Read the summary, then tap Delete my account. You'll be signed out of every device straight away.
If you can't sign in
Email [support email] from the email address on your account, with the subject line Delete my account. Include the registered mobile number so we can find the right account.
We verify every request before acting on it, usually with a one-time password sent to your registered mobile number. We will not delete an account on the basis of an unverified request. Expect a response within [3] working days and completion within [7] working days.
What happens when you delete
- You are signed out on all devices and can no longer sign in.
- Your saved sessions and push-notification token are removed, so notifications stop.
- Your profile, KYC documents and other personal details are deleted or anonymissed as set out below.
- Any remaining wallet balance must be withdrawn or redeemed before you delete. We cannot restore an account to release a balance afterwards.
Deletion is permanent. We cannot restore a deleted account, its holdings history, or its scheme membership. If you want to use Balaji Gold House again later, you'll need to create a new account and complete KYC from scratch.
What we delete
Removed within [30] days of your request:
- Profile details — name, email address, mobile number, date of birth, postal address and PIN code, profile photo
- KYC documents — PAN and Aadhaar numbers, and the uploaded copies of those documents, removed from our document storage
- Bank and nominee details — account number, IFSC, bank name, nominee name, relationship and contact number
- Device and session data — login sessions, access tokens, push-notification token
- Referral data — your referral code and the link between your account and anyone you referred
What we keep, and why
Some records must be retained by law:
- Transaction and payment records — purchases, redemptions, scheme instalments, invoices and wallet movements. Retained as part of our books of account under the Companies Act, 2013, normally eight financial years, then deleted.
- KYC and identity records tied to those transactions — retained where the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 and its rules require it, normally five years from the end of our relationship with you.
- Tax and GST records — invoices and related filings, retained for the period set by the applicable tax rules.
Records kept for these reasons are held only for legal, tax and audit purposes. They are not used for marketing or analytics and are not linked back to an active account. Once the retention period ends, they are deleted or permanently anonymised.
